This policy explains what information PetFlightPlan collects when you request a route preview or paid plan, how it is used, and how payment, account, route alert, PDF, and email data are handled.

Information we collect

When you submit a request, we collect the route details you provide, including origin country, optional origin area, destination country, departure date, airline, pet type, pet count, weight range, cabin preference, rabies status, and your email address.

If you log in before payment, we connect the plan and checkout history to your account. When you pay, Stripe processes payment details. PetFlightPlan stores payment-related identifiers and request status, but does not store full card numbers.

How we use your information

We use your intake details to generate the free preview, unlock the paid planning workspace after checkout, create the PDF delivery, send the result by email, and maintain request history linked to your access token.

We may also retain internal logs required to troubleshoot failed previews, failed PDF deliveries, failed emails, invalid result links, or payment status issues.

Payments and optional route alerts

Stripe handles Standard and Pro one-time checkout payments and optional route alert subscription checkout. PetFlightPlan stores Stripe customer, checkout, payment, and subscription identifiers needed to unlock plans, support receipts, and manage paid status.

Route alerts are optional: paid plan customers can add tracked-source email alerts for $4.90 USD per month when available.

Email and delivery records

PetFlightPlan uses email delivery providers to send transactional emails, including payment confirmations, paid plan notifications, PDF attachments, and route alert messages when enabled.

We retain email delivery status and delivery errors for support, resend, and audit purposes.

Data retention

We keep request records, generated planning briefs, and payment metadata for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, resend access, and respond to operational issues.
